Hands of Z #19.5: Big Dick Energy

Alright folks, strap in for a very special .5 episode we’ve boldly titled "Big Dick Energy". This time around, we shine the spotlight on not one, but two legendary Dicks: Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater—two men who bled swagger, chaos, and unfiltered ass-kickery every time they stepped through the ropes.
First up, we head to the Philadelphia Spectrum on February 16, 1985, where Barry Windham squares off with Dick Murdoch in a match that has history behind it and ahead of it. 
Then we rewind the tape back to December 1983 for a United States Heavyweight Title match between Dick Slater and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine. We're coming off the heels of Starrcade ‘83, where Valentine and Piper tried to legally kill each other with a dog collar. 
So whether you’re a fan of wild-eyed southern brawlers, long-lost regional cable networks, or just here for the Dicks (again—we know what we said), this one’s got something for everyone. Pour a drink, fire it up, and bask in the Big Dick Energy.

They discuss an iconic closing shot of 11/16/85 World Championship Wrestling, then jump into multiple 3 star plus matches and 1 average match including, Buddy Landell vs Manny Fernandez, 4 Ric Flair matches that include a banger 6 man with the Andersons, a fantastic angle and match for the title in Mid South vs. Ted Dibiase, another title defense against Koko Ware in Memphis and yet another title defense in Mid South against Jake Roberts with a shocking start. They close the show with a hot Road Warriors/Russians segment and big news on the vacant World TV title!
